Sleek Makeup Review (Face Form and Matte Me)

Image
Hi everyone! Long time no see! This will be an extremely overdue post but i'm glad to be back. Here I have another review regarding 2 Sleek Makeup Products. I believe Sleek is a highstreet brand originally from the U.K. and can be purchased online here in Canada. I got the brand's Face Form Palette and Matte Me Liquid Lipstick from the Philippines. First product we'll start off is the Face Form Palette in the shade Light. It comes as a trio with a powder contour/bronzer, highlight, and blush.   I used the contour shade with a Japonesque Kumadori brush to add dimension to my face below the cheekbones and temples.  In my opinion the contour shade leans towards the warmer tones making it act more like a bronzer on my skin. Pigmentation was decent but I would rather that happen that suddenly applying a lot of product on my face especially if i'm in a hurry. It does not require a lot of work to blend the product either. Next up is the blush wh

Happy Skin X Beauty and The Beast Lip Kit Review

Today's blog post will be a review regarding the Happy Skin X Disney Beauty and the Beast Moisturizing Matte Lip Kit in Rose (phew.. that's a mouthful). I'm definitely late in the bandwagon in terms of reviews since this Lip Kit was released on March 2017. Anyway, let's get on to the review! The Beauty and the Beast Lip Kit is priced at ₱1,199.00 and is a limited edition item. I purchased mine at the SM Aura Department Store. Personally, I've never had experience with other lip kits which means I won't be able to compare this to other brands (e.g. Kylie Jenner Matte Lip Kits). I would say that this is one of the best packaging I've ever seen on a makeup product so kudos to the design team! This lip kit includes a Matte Liquid Lipstick with a doe foot applicator. The product inside the tube amounts to 4.5mL. The packaging is lovely and is in theme with the blue and yellow concept of the Beauty and the Beast movie. I also like how the handle of t

Follow my blog with Bloglovin Today I'm presenting you the 2nd part of the Philippines Makeup Haul! If you haven't seen the 1st part yet here is a (LINK) to it. Just as stated in the last blog post, I will be listing all of the item prices as best as I can, if not, then I will list down the approximate prices instead. I would greatly appreciate it if you can comment below which item you would like me to do a review on. Now let's get on to the haul! The makeup products were mainly purchased from SM Department stores and Watsons. *no swatches for now since i'm planning on doing a review on most of them. To be quite honest, I actually did some research about popular local makeup products in the Philippines and I came across the brand Jazzy France.  The Jazzy France Matte Eyeshadow Palette ( ₱1,299.00)   was one of the popular items of the brand. The SA from the makeup counter also told me that this palette was being used by makeup artists from ABS-CBN on

Philippines Makeup Haul (Part 1)

I'm very excited to share with you the first post for my blog! I recently went to the Philippines for a vacation last July 2017 and bought tons of makeup. I will try to list down all of the prices for interested folks if I still have them available and will write reviews for most of the items. I bought the products mainly at SM department stores and Watsons in case any of you were wondering. Since this is going to be a long haul I will not be doing any swatches and will try to make it as organized as possible. Reviews will be coming soon! First one on the list is the brand Happy Skin. I had the chance to purchase three of their products on three different locations (two different department stores and one stall) since I was experiencing "indecisive" moments. Shut up and Kiss Me in the shade Honeymoon Glow (₱6 49.00)   is apparently one of the popular shades in their moisturizing matte lip line according to one of the SA's at the department store counter
